Privacy Policy
Vive never runs its own servers. Everything you enter is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced only through your own private iCloud account — Vive's developer never has access to it.
How Vive handles your information
Cigarette logs, your plan, and settings are stored with Apple's SwiftData and, if you're signed in to iCloud, synced through your own private CloudKit database so your devices stay in sync. This data is never sent to any server we operate, and we cannot see it.
Vive doesn't ask you to register or create an account. It uses the Apple ID / iCloud account already configured on your device, only to sync your own data between your own devices.
Vive doesn't integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. Nothing you do in the app is shared with, or sold to, any third party.
Milestone and location alerts are scheduled directly on your device. Vive does not use any push-notification server, so no notification content ever leaves your phone.
Permissions Vive may ask for
Only if you turn on "Location alerts" in Settings. Used to tag where you log a cigarette and to notify you when you're near a place where you often smoke. Location data is stored the same way as the rest of your data — locally and in your private iCloud only.
Only if you connect it in Settings. Vive reads your heart rate, steps, and sleep to show them alongside your progress, and writes your completed breathing sessions as mindfulness minutes. This data stays inside Apple Health / your device and is never uploaded anywhere by Vive.
The name and phone number you save for your trusted contact are stored locally on your device and are only used to open the Phone app when you tap the call button. Vive never transmits this information anywhere.
Used to let you know when you reach a recovery milestone or enter a location alert zone. All notifications are generated on-device.
