App context on Mac
App context lets a note belong to a specific app, so it becomes more
relevant when you are working in that app.
- Select a note from a sticky window, the menu bar list, or Notes Library.
- Choose Attach to Current App or attach it to a recent app from the available list.
- Once attached, the note is treated as an app-context note instead of a global note.
- Use the Current App filter in the menu or Notes Library to focus on notes relevant to the app you are using.
- If you want the note everywhere again, choose Convert to Global Note.
Global notes can appear across your workflow. App-context notes are
better for task-specific reminders, reference snippets, or notes
you only want while using a particular Mac app.
