This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Stickies handles information. Effective date: June 3, 2026.

1. Summary

Simple Stickies does not collect user data. Your notes stay on your device and are not collected by the developer.

2. Local storage on your device

The app stores the content you create, such as note text, note color, timestamps, and interface state locally on your device so the app can work as expected.

On iOS, the app also stores which note is pinned for the widget so the widget can display it.

On compatible Apple devices, note changes may also refresh through Apple's own sync services when those services are available for your Apple account and device configuration.

3. No data collection

Simple Stickies does not collect, track, transmit, sell, or share user data with the developer or third parties.

4. No third-party sharing

The app does not sell your personal information and does not share user data with third parties. It does not require account creation and does not rely on advertising or analytics SDKs to provide its core experience.

If note data is refreshed across your own devices through Apple services, that transfer is handled by Apple's platform services rather than by the developer's own servers.

5. Widget data access

On iPhone and iPad, the widget reads note data from the app's shared local storage so it can display your pinned note or your most recently updated note. This sharing happens only within Apple's app group container on your device.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your notes remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. If you delete a note inside the app, it is removed from the app's stored data used for that feature.

7. Children's privacy

Because Simple Stickies does not collect user data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated in the future if the app's features change. When that happens, the updated version should be published at this page with a new effective date.
